Ready to take ownership of an international procurement category and help shape the future of One Procurement?
At NNZ, we are taking an important step in strengthening the way we work together across our international procurement organization. With One Procurement, we are moving towards a more connected, category-driven approach. By bringing together our knowledge, supplier relationships, volumes and market insights across countries, we can create more value and become stronger as one international team.To support this development, we are looking for two Category Procurement Managers, each taking ownership of a specific international procurement category. You bring together local expertise, market knowledge and supplier relationships to develop and implement a shared category strategy. Your focus goes beyond purchasing prices. You look at total value, including margins, quality, availability, working capital, sustainability, risk and innovation.
An important part of your role is providing functional leadership to an international category team. You set direction, establish priorities, connect colleagues across countries and turn plans into measurable results. Without formal line management responsibility, you play a key leadership role in developing capabilities, strengthening collaboration and driving change.
Your key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an international category strategy and roadmap.
- Provide functional leadership to your international category team, setting priorities and driving performance.
- Lead international sourcing initiatives, tenders and supplier negotiations.
- Make supplier and commercial decisions within agreed guidelines and delegated authority.
- Translate category strategies and supplier agreements into operational implementation across countries.
- Build strategic supplier relationships and drive supplier performance and innovation.
- Identify and manage risks related to supply, sustainability and business continuity.
- Use data, market insights and business cases to identify opportunities and create measurable value.
- Drive the transition towards a more harmonized, category-driven procurement approach.
