IT Support Engineer

Groningen
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your mission

At NNZ, around 300 colleagues across 18 countries rely on a secure, reliable and well-organised IT environment every day. As our IT Support Engineer, you help make that happen. You will work on our Modern Workplace and IT infrastructure, support colleagues with technical questions and contribute to improving and standardising our IT environment across NNZ.

Your work is varied: one day you might be working on Intune or a network issue, while the next you are helping a colleague, testing a new solution or working with an IT partner in one of our countries.

You will be involved in areas such as:
  • Microsoft 365, Intune, devices and software;
  • networks and IT infrastructure across our international locations;
  • workplace, hardware, software and network issues;
  • testing and implementing new systems, updates and technical standards;
  • IT assets, configurations and technical documentation;
  • working with external IT partners on changes, projects and incidents;
  • further developing our cloud environment, cybersecurity and digital workplace.
You will join our international IT team and work closely with our Global IT Manager, Workplace Support colleague, Security Officer and ERP colleagues.

Our IT environment is continuously developing. This means you will not only support the IT of today, but also have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take on projects and gradually build more responsibility and expertise.

Your profile

For this internal opportunity, we are not looking for someone who already knows everything. What matters most is that you have a genuine interest in IT, enjoy solving technical problems and are eager to learn and develop yourself further.

You are curious, hands-on and like to understand how things work. You enjoy helping colleagues and are comfortable working with people from different teams, countries and backgrounds.

Some experience with IT support, Microsoft 365, workplace management, networks or infrastructure is helpful, but you do not need to tick every box. Your willingness and ability to learn are just as important as your current technical knowledge. You communicate comfortably in English; Dutch or other languages are an advantage in our international environment.

And importantly: where you are currently based within NNZ is not the deciding factor. We are open to colleagues from across the organisation. What matters most is your motivation, potential and interest in developing within IT.

Why us?

This is a great opportunity to take your next step within NNZ and develop yourself in a broad and international IT role.

You will get:
  • a varied role covering both day-to-day IT and technical improvement projects;
  • plenty of opportunity to learn and further develop your technical skills;
  • exposure to IT environments and colleagues across 18 countries;
  • the opportunity to specialise over time and take on more responsibility;
  • a close-knit IT team where knowledge is shared and you can learn from experienced colleagues;
  • the chance to actively contribute to how we further develop our Modern Workplace, infrastructure, cloud environment and cybersecurity.
Interested?
Would you like to explore whether this could be your next step within NNZ? You can apply until 16 October.

You do not need to have the perfect background or meet every requirement. If you are curious about IT, eager to learn and motivated to develop yourself in this direction, we encourage you to apply.
